Weather permitting, we try to open the pool for the Whitsunday Bank Holiday.

Fishing

Swiss Farm has a superbly stocked fishing lake that is run by a small group of skilled helpers and has become increasingly popular as a fishing club. Campers are very welcome to use this facility which is situated in a woody secluded area on the park.

The lake contains: Large Carp, Tench, Roach, Perch, Golden Orfe, Ghost Carp, Golden Tench, and Koi Carp Hybrids.

Closed Season: 15th March-27th May

Day Ticket holders rules:

• No ground bait ­ open-ended swim feeders only
• No peanuts or tiger nuts
• No Boilies
• No fixed lead helicopter rigs or bent hooked rigs
• No keep nets
• No tins (contents must be placed in a plastic container)
• No night fishing
• No radios
• No hemp
• No dogs
• No vehicles beyond the car park
• Adequate landing nets must be used
• Carp mats must be used
• Children MUST be accompanied by an adult
• Non toxic weights only
