PRICES: Regatta Week

Pre-booked pitches: Quiet area on main site.

There is a minimum booking period of 7 nights over the Regatta week for electric and non-electric pitches. Please see 'peak' prices.

These pitches are located on the main park and have the benefit of being more secluded. Parking is permitted on our pitch in this area.

Pre booked Tenting: Quiet area, Field 2

To book a space for the quiet tenting field which is reserved for competitors, families and those wishing to 'bed down' when on site there is a minimum booking period of 5 nights. Please see 'Regatta' Prices. Parking is permitted in this area next to your tent.

Note regarding quiet areas: Whilst we do our very best to maintain these quiet areas, customers must expect a certain level of background noise from the riverside and of course fireworks. We cannot be held responsible for any disturbance caused in this way.

Turn up and camp: Available only during Regatta week

We operate 2 areas for people wishing to come for less than 7 nights or who do not wish to book in advance:

Field 1

This is the main camping area often referred to as the 'noisy field' during the regatta. Due to the fun nature of this event, customers camping in Field 1 must expect a bit of noise, especially over the weekend. We do however have rules regarding the level of noise that will be accepted. For instance we do not allow radios etc. Any antisocial behavior will result in immediate removal from the park. Parking for this area is separate from the tents. Only tents can use this area; all caravans/campervans/trailer tents etc. must book on to the main site.

Field 3

This area is again for people wishing to escape the noise and will be monitored accordingly. This field is sloping!

Prices for general camping:

Tuesday and previous: See high season prices
Wednesday and Thursday: £8.00 per head per night
Friday and Saturday: £10.00 per head per night
Sunday: £8.00 per head
Monday onwards: See high season prices

Please note: There is a minimum stay of 2 nights throughout this event. Our camping fields 1 and 3 operate on a first come, first served basis and are subject to the following conditions.

Booking Conditions and Restrictions:

• Minimum stay 2 nights
• Over 21s only
• Bonafide rowing supporters only.
  (Customers may be asked to provide valid membership to a recognised boat club or institution)
• No Guests over this period. Full paying customers only please.
• We reserve the right to refuse entry to the park even with a valid booking.
• Vehicles may be used for the purpose of leaving and entering the park only and must be parked in the designated car park at all other times.
• Dangerous driving will result in immediate removal from the park. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs whilst on the park can and will be regarded as a criminal offence.
• Any loud, aggressive or antisocial behaviour will result in immediate removal from the park.
• Strictly NO FIRES!
• NO RADIOS

The reception will be open from 9am each day until late.

Note about future booking arrangements:

We wish to improve our facilities and provide an increasingly comfortable camping experience for all our guests. For this reason; over the next few years we will be reducing the number of spaces allocated for camping over the Regatta week. This will provide customers with more room, better access to facilities and generally a better service. To facilitate this, we will be requiring customers to book in advance for 5 to 7 days, depending on the type of camping ie. Super pitch/Electric Hook up etc. For the 2008 season we will require all customers using field 2 (quiet field) to book for a minimum of 5 nights. As with other years there will be a minimum booking of 7 nights for the main park. We hope that by formalising bookings in this way and by eventually, substantially reducing the numbers on the park, we will increase security and provide a more family friendly environment.
